2023 DAA Field Hockey Schedule

Coaches Clinic Sunday August 27, time and site are TBD

September 9 – Opening Day

September 16- Open Day for all JC to raise money for their high school teams/ Relay for Life/THON

September 23 – Pretzel Day

September 26 - 6pm DAAFH Night at CB West Field Hockey Game 

September 30  – Picture Day & Food Drive Day (rain or shine) 

Pictures will take place during the practice portion of the day

October 7–  No Games, CBSD closed the fields

October 14 –  

October 21  –  Coach Appreciation Day

October 28 – Spirit Day

November 4- Last Day of the Season

Picture Day Information

 Pictures will be taken on September 30th during the practice portion of the day.  The teams will be escorted over to the photographers by a volunteer.  The coach will escort the players back to the field.  Parents do not need to travel with the players.  Parents will receive a free Memory Mate that DAAFH is providing.  You do not need to order this item.  If you are ordering any other items please do so online, https://snapactionpix.com/23-daa-field-hockey, use the code 2023.

 

PICTURE DAY & FOOD DRIVE DAY

Fall 2023 – Saturday September 30th

PLAYERS – Pictures will be taken outside on the fields during the practice the portion of the day.  There will be a set time for each team to be taken over to the photographer.  

DAA will again be coordinating a Food Drive for the Doylestown Food Pantry on Picture Day.  Please bring a non-perishable food item that is not expired to Lenape along with your smile for picture day.  

Items needed:

  • Protein: Canned meats such as tuna, chicken, and salmon. Beans, canned or dried. Split peas and lentils. Peanut butter.
  • Grains: Pasta, rice, or quinoa. Oatmeal or breakfast cereals (whole grain or low sugar).
  • Dairy: Shelf stable milk, non-fat dried powder milk, or dry-grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Prepared Meals: Pasta sauces, hearty soups, stews, canned pasta, baked beans, or Mac & Cheese. 
  • Fruits: Canned fruit in its own juice or 100% fruit juice.
  • Vegetables: Canned carrots, potatoes, yams, or tomatoes.
  • Baking Goods: Cake mix, flour, or sugar.
  • Other Items: Olive oil, canola oil, broths, lemon juice, or vinegar. Spices such as pepper, cinnamon, oregano, parsley, or chili powder. Healthy snacks like nuts or crackers. Condiments, such as ketchup, mayo, or salad dressing.
  • Cleaning Supplies: all-purpose spray cleaners, floor cleaners, sanitizing wipes,
  • Household Supplies: dish detergent, bottled hand soap, paper towels, tissues, toilet paper, or garbage bags
  • Personal Care Items: Feminine products or personal hygiene products and kits
  • Baby Supplies: diapers, baby wipes, baby wash, or shampoo/lotion
  • First Aid Supplies: Neosporin, rubbing alcohol, band-aids, bandages, bandage tape, or anti-itch cream

The memory mate, team picture and individual is INCLUDED in your registration fee, grades K-6 only.  Senior League DOES NOT get pictures taken.  All other selections are available for purchase.
