Doylestown (DAA) softball is geared towards supporting our female youth in building confidence in themselves, learning teamwork, and having fun, while being an integral part of the local Doylestown Community.
Softball registration for the spring season is open until February 19, 2025. Use the link below to register.

Our Spring season schedule typically consists of at least one game and one practice each week. That said - once we have a better idea of the amount of teams in each age bracket, that may become a 2nd game or practice in some weeks. Scheduling for practices is coach dependent. We offer our volunteer coaches the opportunity to choose which day of the week works best for their schedule, since they are volunteering their time. We expect to have more solid information around practice dates and times as we approach the end of February. Feel free to check back then for more info.
The 6U division is made up of players 5-6 years old and is a Coach pitched / Tee team to have fun and begin the learning fundamentals of Softball. The girls will play intramurally at one of our home parks in Doylestown.
The 8U team is made up of players ages 6-8 years old and is a Coach-pitched division to learn and work on fundamentals of the game. 8U competes in the River Valley League with other local recreational organizations like Solebury, Upper Makefield, DTAA, Lambertville and other local organizations. 8U plays a full league schedule with some local travel and an end of the season tournament.
The 10U team is comprised of 9 and 10 year olds and also competes in the River Valley League with other local recreational organizations like Solebury, Upper Makefield, DTAA, Lambertville and other local organizations. 10U plays a 12-14 game schedule and year end tournament.
The 12U team is made up of players ages 11 and 12. Just like our 8U and 10U teams, our 12U team plays in the River Valley League with other local recreational organizations like Solebury, Upper Makefield, DTAA, Lambertville and other local organizations. 12U plays a 12-14 game schedule and year end tournament.
The 15U and 19U teams compete in the VIGS League (Valley Intercommunity Softball League) playing against other local organizations such as Deep Run, Lenape Valley, DAA, Montgomery and other local organizations. These teams play a 12 game schedule with year end playoffs and an All Star game.
The Sunday Select teams provides players a chance to experience the inter-community travel environment at an increased softball skill level. Players must come from the in-house recreational league; however no travel players are permitted on the team. This is not a travel league, but is considered a step above most in-house recreational leagues.
All players must try out and with enough interest, teams will be formed at each age group starting at 10U. Practices are on Friday nights with games on Sunday. This is in addition to playing on an in-house team.
Plumstead Scream Travel
Our Scream travel team competes in the Suburban Travel League and/or the USA Softball Tri-County League. Scream enters the Fall season as a "C" level team unless otherwise changed. Players must try out for the Scream travel team and should either play school ball or for a rec program.
