President – Chief Office of the Association and presiding officer at Board and Executive Committee meetings.  She/he shall assure all committees and functions are in accord with the DAA Philosophy and that other requirements as detailed in the bylaws, including: 

•Co-Authority to sign checks over $1,000 with Treasurer. 

•Signs legal papers with Secretary.

•Shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed in these bylaws or assigned to him/her by the Executive Board.

•Member of the Executive Committee and Executive Board.

There shall be a Director in charge of each sport activity sponsored by Doylestown Athletic Association.  Each Director shall be a member of the DAA Executive Board and responsible and accountable to the direction of the Executive Committee.  Within the guidelines and directions expressed by the Executive Board, each Director shall be responsible for the organization and operation of the sport under his/her supervision.
