Baseball Sports Director
Objective: To develop, plan for and organize a baseball sports program and create well-run systems, using creativity, leadership and management skills, while establishing a safe and positive environment for all participants.
Baseball Sports Director Responsibilities:
• Recruit, Coordinate, work with, and fill in for the following Volunteers so the following duties are completed:
•VP of Junior Baseball (5u through 12u); VP of Senior Baseball (13u through 16u); Fall baseball Junior Director (7u through 12u); Travel/Cal Ripken Director;
•Prepare Budget spring for season & Open Registration on SE
•Recruit League Directors for each age group (Junior Baseball only)
•Organize tryouts, indoor workouts and indoor facilities
•Organize drafts/teams
•Identify Head and Assistant Coaches
•Prepare rules for distribution to coaches
•Communicate with coaches throughout the season
