Pitching and Hitting Instruction

Rick Strychowski:  Rich has been involved with softball in the Doylestown area for over 15 years as a pitching and hitting coach.  Rick started and directed the Doylestown Fury (now Lenape Valley Fury).  He has been Pitching Coach at CB East, as well as, the Pitching and Recruiting Coach for Del-Val College. Recently, Rick is providing individual instruction for thirty-three children nine years and up.  Many local high school pitchers are his students, as well as, children involved with DAA.

Total Skills Baseball/Softball:  Total Skills Baseball and Softball offers individual and small group instruction for girls 6-18 years old in the Doylestown area.  Instruction is led by Lisa Wambold, former assistant coach at Drexel University and standout player at Hofstra.

Becky Wilde:  Becky was a two-time Division III All-American at Trenton State College (now the College of New Jersey) and a two-time National Champion.  Prior to college, Becky was a four year starter for Council Rock High School (North) where she has been inducted to the hall of fame.  Becky has been providing prviate pitching lessons for more than 15 years for girls from 8 years old to high school seniors.

Kacey Revere:  Kacey was the starting pitcher for Holicong and was coached by Rick Strychowski.  Kacey was a vital contributor in developing and instructing the DAA coaches clinic.  Kacey will provide individual, as well as, group pitching lessons.

Donna Reiss, a Lehigh Valley resident, recently published her book.  Highlights of the book include pitching drills for beginner and advanced pitchers, adding the movement pitches, a chapter on “having fun” while practicing, important tips on how to manage the game including pitch count strategies, and the importance of the pitcher/catcher team. 

 Donna pitched softball for 25 years in numerous local, state, regional, and national tournaments.  Her achieve-ments: two-time ASA Pennsylvania State Champion; member three-time national tournament berths with Allentown Patriot Lazers.  Her coaching experience spans college and high school levels. Donna has been a pitching instructor for 25 years as well as an invited clinician, conducting informative pitching clinics for students, coaches, and parents.  Her teachings include acquired knowledge from nationally-known college coaches, Pan Am and Olympic players.
